Scandia Housing welcomes four new employees
Danish companies are increasingly attracting foreign labour to Denmark. At the same time, developments in the property market have meant that many Danes are choosing to rent a property rather than invest. A combination of these factors means that Scandia Housing is experiencing a rising demand for both flats and houses.
To meet this increased demand we are pleased to announce that we have employed four new members of staff at our Copenhagen office.
Stefan Skov Andersen joined us as Office Agent on 1 June 2008. Stefan is a trained all-round office worker and has experience from a similar position at TDC. He handles appointment booking and viewings and deals with customer enquiries. In his spare time, Stefan works as an entertainer and his infectious humour and quick repartee have made him a natural focus of attention at our Copenhagen office.
Julie Alexandra von Barnekow has joined us as university assistant. Julie has spent most of her life living out of a suitcase and spent a long time living outside Denmark. She is therefore seamlessly able to deal with many of our international clients in their native languages despite, according to herself, speaking Swedish with a Finnish accent, English with American undertones and German with a French accent. Julie has an international Bachelor degree and is studying law at the University of Copenhagen – while working at Scandia Housing.
We have also taken on Annelee Valino as Office Agent. The Office Agent position requires maintaining an overview of things, but Annelee’s background as Product Development Assistant with Kidz Entertainments and her experience as a scuba diver ensure that there is little risk of her drowning in the many e-mails and letters that find their way to her desk on a daily basis. Client contact is the most important motivational factor for Annelee who enjoys the high-octane atmosphere in the office and loves providing our customers with fast and efficient service.
Finally, we have employed Camilla Munch as Field Agent to show clients around our properties in Copenhagen. Camilla has previously worked as a booker at a model agency and in Danish television. She has also travelled widely as a professional model and has lived in France, Spain, the UK, Japan and Italy. This means that Camilla is familiar with the challenges facing our clients when they move abroad and it is the close contact with both tenants and landlords that attracted Camilla to the job.
